OSPREY WATERWAYS (INDIA) LLP proudly owns the world-class fast ferry, New Frontier No. 3, imported from Malaysia. This vessel has successfully served the nation by transporting more than 10,000 pilgrims, senior citizens, and physically disabled travelers to Gangasagar directly from Kolkata, Diamond Harbour and its suburbs. It made history by reducing the travel time from Kolkata to Gangasagar to just three hours, an achievement widely covered by leading media houses, including DD and AIR.
We reached thousands of people affected by the AMPHAN super cyclone in the interior islands of Sundarbans. During the flood in July 2021, we transported over 20,000 villagers between Sahibganj and Manihari. During the first wave of COVID-19, when all trains and public transport were shut down, we provided essential transportation for daily passengers between Chandannagar and Kolkata, with a travel time of two hours.
Two Master Mariners from Kolkata and Mumbai invested their maximum possible funds to bring this excellent vessel to serve the nation.
