OSPREY WATERWAYS (INDIA) LLP is proud to own the world-class fast ferry, New Frontier No. 3, imported from Malaysia. This vessel has successfully served the nation by transporting more than 35,000 pilgrims, senior citizens, and physically disabled travelers to Gangasagar directly from Kolkata and its suburbs. It made history by reaching Gangasagar from Kolkata in just three hours, a feat witnessed by major media houses, including DD and AIR.
Our ferry reached thousands of people affected by the AMPHAN super cyclone in the interior islands of the Sundarbans. During the floods of July 2021, we transported over 20,000 villagers between Sahibganj and Manihari. During the first wave of Covid-19, when all trains and other transport services were closed, we facilitated daily passenger transport from Chandannagar to Kolkata, with a travel time of two hours.
Capt. Anjan Sinha from Kolkata and Capt. Nilesh Kalyanpur from Mumbai invested their maximum possible funds to bring this excellent vessel to serve the nation.
